The short version
- I only use your details to reply to your enquiry and, if you book, to arrange your lessons.
- I don't sell them, share them for advertising, or add you to a mailing list.
- You can ask me what I have about you, and to correct or delete it, at any time.
What I collect
When you send the contact form: your name, email address, phone number and city, plus anything else you choose to fill in (your licence, what you're interested in, and your message).
When you visit any page, the companies that run the site (listed below) see technical details such as your IP address and browser. They need these to deliver the page and keep it secure.
Why
- To reply to your enquiry, by email or phone.
- To send you one email confirming your enquiry arrived.
- If you become a student, to arrange your lessons and road tests.
- To keep the contact form free of spam and bots.
I won't use your details for anything else without asking you first.
Who else handles your details
Running a website and sending email takes a few service providers. Each one only handles what it needs to do its job.
- Cloudflare hosts the site, runs the "Verify you are human" check on the contact form, stops the form being sent too many times in a row, and counts visits to the site. The visit counts don't use cookies and don't identify you.
- Resend sends your enquiry to me, and your confirmation email to you.
- Google provides the email inbox enquiries arrive in, and the fonts on this site: your browser fetches them from Google when a page loads.
All three are based in the United States, so your details may be stored or handled outside Canada. While they are, they could be accessed by courts, police or national security agencies there under that country's laws.
Cookies and your browser
This site doesn't use cookies to track you or to show you ads. It remembers two things in your own browser so pages stay the way you left them: whether you turned on dark mode, and the last city you picked. They stay on your device, and clearing your browser's data for this site removes them.
How long I keep it
Enquiries stay in my email for as long as I need them to answer you and, if you book, for normal business records. Ask me and I'll delete yours, unless the law requires me to keep it. Resend and Cloudflare keep their own short-term records of what they've handled, under their own privacy policies.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your details
You can ask me to:
- tell you what details I have about you
- correct anything that's wrong
- delete your details
Send the contact form and say what you'd like, or call . I'll reply within 30 days.

If you're not happy with my answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
Changes to this page
If this page changes, the date at the top changes too. If I ever want to use your details for something new, I'll ask you first rather than just update this page.
